We are in finally stages of our CR1/CR2 Petition and I forwarded an I864 for my Stepson and now i received a FRE telling me I have to Submit an I864W I called the NVC and asked why .and the operator said Its because my name is on his birth certificate I told him he is my stepson in all the documentation i have submitted i used the term stepson. If i submit an I864W I told them it would be fraud because he is my stepson and not my real son. I told the operator i would have already applied for his citizenship.

Apparently there not reading everything before they send RFE's I asked if i can speak to supervisor and he said i cant and it will take 6 to 8 weeks to review and to call back then.

My wife's petition is completed and waiting for his to be completed so we can get our interview date

What should I do?
