Not Heard Anything from NVC After NOA2

My I-129F was NOA2 Approved on June 7th, 2010 and I received the hardcopy of the NOA2 few days after that. However, up till now, I have not heard anything from NVC. VJ's average is 5 days from NOA2 to NVC Receive. Its more than 20 days for my case and no email, no letter from NVC. I'm getting a little worried!

1. What do I need to do to know what is going on with my case?

2. For those of you that posted date entries on VJ for "NVC Receive", "NVC Sent" and "Consulate Receive", how did you get these dates? Did NVC emailed you? Did they send a physical letter? Did the Consulate email/write you? Do I need to subscribe to some Alert Notification system somewhere?

Any insights/advise will be appreciated.

Thank y'all.

NVC eventually sent me a letter, but I had been calling daily after my NOA2 was received in the mail. They can let you know if it has been forwarded to the consulate if you call.

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

Fiance here February 2010, married 10 days later

GC received in the mail 10-Jun-2010

Able to apply to remove conditions 12-Feb-2012

BABY GIRL BORN JULY 2011!!!

After dealing with the USCIS useless line calling NVC is a joy. Just call and have your case number handy. They will tell you if the petition has been sent and if you are nice to them they can look into the system and tell you if an interview date has been granted. It really helped us because Joseph has trouble with the ON/OFF concept of computer operation ( we now have a pile of Dummy's books )

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

You need to call them. You will need to give them your receipt number, the beneficiary name, date of birth and your name date of birth.. The dates when you get the notices or the letter in hand. The NVC will tell you when they got your case if you ask.

Thanks y'all.

I called the NVC this morning and was told that my case has been forwarded to the foreign Consulate in charge last Friday 25th June.

Kinda surprising why it took soo long. My NOA2 was dated June 6th and the trend here on VJ has been less than 5 days.

In any case, I'm happy the case file is not missing-in-action!
