I applied for K1 visa and and i had visa interviewed in U.S Islamabad on Oct 05, 2009 then it is assigned to AP.

Jun 12 2010 my fiancée called to DOS(Department of states) to inquire the case status, call agent replied it is almost finish.

It is almost finish but almost end of the month could not hear any thing back from embassy...

Whats next after AP getting finish from DOS any idea how much more time required ???

Call DOS back and see what they say this time sometimes I think they just say the words we need to here but I hope it is finished However I think what she was saying it is in the last Phase and soon it will end. I have noticed from other people that when the AP is finished DOS will say you will hear from the Embassy soon Good Luck

2010-03-29 sent next day air-2010-03-30 10:30 USCIS signed for package

2010-03-31 USCIS updated accoun

2010-04-10 received email case reaffirmed

2010-08-18 2nd interview

9/2/2010 Visa Received

9/16/2010 Entered USA

10/15/2010 received 10 year GC
