It seems as though you have missed the point entirely; the picture is special to Lisa, not me. I don't give a toss about it. She can use it whatever way she likes, I just suggested that using it in a thread about abortion was bound to cause her upset because of the nature of its use. Clearly, my sensitivity to her feelings is entirely misplaced. Thanks everyone for pointing that out to me. I will not make that mistake again in a hurry.

You are entitled to hold any opinion you want, but you can't place merit on that opinion simply because you want it to be true.

Yes, you can go ahead and post your fetus wherever you like. I'm completely done worrying about it. Nothing I have posted has derailed anything. Your fetus was not responding to pain or even discomfort. Your fetus does not have any awareness of its environment. Your fetus would have no problem being aborted in terms of how it felt about it. One minute it would be there the next minute it would be gone, pfft!

OMG, you said that what you witnessed, ie your interpretation of the movement of you fetus as a direct response to a given stimulus proved that the science behind the study on whether fetus less than 24 weeks feels pain is rubbish. That's emotive bullshit.

Yeah, science is interesting. Scientists aren't always right, and guess what? They know that, that is why they continue to study and refine their discoveries, they never rest.

If I had to start all over again, I think I would take science studies more seriously and try my hand at research, that would be awesome

Cleo, I've done psychology research for a few years and even though it's interesting stuff, scientists are just as much at each others throats as you two are regarding the topics. Awesome theories though.
