The French have the highest GDP per hour worked in the world -- I guess the extra vacation makes you more productive.

Last year I worked about 2500 hours. I am on a pace to work 2600 this year.

I'm right there with you. At the pace I'm going I'll hit 2600 or just under for this year. It is to the point where I actually feel guilty if I am not at work. I hope that the workload will even itself out by the end of the year. Sigh. At least it's keeping me occupied whilst the man is in England.
