It does depend on the person I think. When I was a kid my mom and I were in a movie theatre when there was a small Earthquake, I just thought it was someone kicking the back of my seat, but she didn't feel anything. I told her too: "Mom someone keeps kicking the back of my seat!" and she told me to be quiet and watch the movie.

Later that day we found out a small earth quake occured at the exact time I decided to complain.

I experienced this too in California. My one friend came to visit me from Canada and we drove to LA for the weekend. In the one club he started looking around and was like "holy ####### did you feel that", and I'm like what the hell are you talking about, and he couldn't believe neither I nor anyone else seemed to have noticed the small earthquake. He said even the liquids in the drinks moved. Maybe he was just drunk...

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...

My cousin lives in Pembroke and she said she felt it strong and both of her kids freaked out. There's a video on weather.com of this guy in Ottawa lifting weights in front of his camera (lol) and then everything started shaking.

I've seen comments from 1 friend who said her little kids were crying and upset and it was really traumatic and then about 10 friends who barely noticed anything - and they're all in the same area - Southern ON. Must depend on the person...but frankly I think some folks have made a bigger deal about it then it really was...at least where they live.

I asked my boys about it...one didn't notice anything...the other did...and they're in the same town.
