Hey was hanging out at home and all of a sudden the appartment building SHOOK and starting swaying slowly. Lasted under a minute. Reports are saying it was a 5.5 and felt as far as Toronto and Ohio...

YES! We had to go outside because of the structure of our house it got too unstable (like a 15ft window).

Telus phones aren't working properly now either... it lasted like 25-30 seconds here.

10/01/2014 found out we are expecting baby #2 June 2015!

12/30/2014 Case received by NVC

03/23/2015 Received Case and Inv # from NVC after many calls and bogus excuses.

03/24/2015 AOS payment accepted by NVC

04/09/2015 IV payment finally accepted by NVC after the set the wrong fee and took weeks to correct it.

*many more delays thanks to the agency processing my fingers prints to the RCMP and the post office losing our mail*

05/20/2015 Packet sent to NVC via UPS, eta May 28.

06/16/2015 Baby #2 due - homebirth in Scottsdale, AZ

Pretty crazy... two weeks ago there were two tornadoes that hit Leamington, now Ottawa - Windsor feels an earthquake.

01/08/2010 - Applied for SSN in maiden name.

01/09/2010 - Married! Officially a Missis.

01/19/2010 - Received SSN in mail.

02/10/2010 - Sent I-485/I-131/I-765 to Chicago.

02/19/2010 - NOA dates for all applications.

02/22/2010 - Received NOAs in mail.

02/23/2010 - Applied for SSN for married name.

03/04/2010 - Applied for Florida DL in married name.

03/09/2010 - Biometrics appointment.

04/18/2010 - AP received.

04/23/2010 - EAD approved.

04/27/2010 - AOS Interview at Orlando USCIS (decision pending).

Wow.. seriously? I felt it but I thought I was going crazy, or that the cat was running around (she literally shakes the floor sometimes). But I looked around and pretty sure she was asleep. My chair was wobbling. It was the weirdest thing.

My brother felt it - he is in Stittsville. 5.5 is pretty big for that area. I remember there were 4 earthquakes that I experienced when living in Ontario - one in Ottawa in 1979, one in St. Catharines in the early 80s and 2 in Chatham, the last one being in 2000 or 2001 I believe. Earthquakes happen there fairly often but are seldom strong enough to feel. I remember the last one it felt like a huge transport truck was driving past the office the way everything shook. The most damage I ever heard about was pictures falling off of the wall. Still, this one today was a good one.

Friends of mine saw it up by the mall in Midland... all power is out in Midland. Insane! Trying to get a hold of my mom... not happening power is out completely.

Crazy stuff! I was just talking to my mom about it, and she said the couch started moving while she was sitting on it. She thought she was having a medical emergency of some kind... :lol:
