It's my hope and dream that one day, soccer in America will be far more popular than anything else. And America will have multiple leagues with top class player from around the world. Last Sunday wife & I went to Costco in the afternoon.

Sometimes it can get very crowded and we can't go on weekdays because they close at 7.

The place only had about 33% of the normal crowd.

You make some good points but you show some ignorance about sports in America.

1) We like our sport leagues to have simple names. UASC-NA doesn't come off the tongue like MLS.

2) We don't do sports on a state by state basis. It just wouldn't work out to have each state field a team.

I find that Americans are more accepting of soccer/football than the rest of the world is of our football...interesting...take notes people!!!

Yes. If America used metric system we'd be more cool. Almost all products are labelled in both imperial and metric system. I use metric system all the time. Granted I have to stop and explain to most Amerikunh what I meant. But at least they were exposed to metric system. I also use 24-clock. This one drives people nut. But I love it. I'll see in at 1830.
