Perhaps you should ask yourself why the USA treats foreign visitors with the same regard for human rights that are afforded to citizens. Granted things went wonky after 9/11 but even Bush's boneheaded administration had the good sense to not conduct it's tortures within the USA.

It isn't "my morality" it's the morality of the country at large (defined in large part by the push for universal human rights post 1945) says It isn't acceptable to summarily execute people for trivial transgressions.

You not only want to do that, but you want to justify it by dehumanising the people ("filth" to quote you) who would be impacted by it.

The US is not North Korea, Burma or the USSR. Nor should it attempt to resemble them.

The US gives foreigners the same consideration within our borders because we believe it is the right of ALL people, not just Americans. While we may not be able to force North Korea to give human rights, we can give human rights to North Koreans that are in the US.

when we punish the employers in a way that is more risky than the benefit of hiring illegals, the jobs will evaporate for illegals...and they will walk home, maybe even pay a Coyote to take them there. Until then, nothing will change. Not even possible.

It has been clear to me for years that the GOP just wants to control a different segment of your life than the Democrats and they all want to control what goes in our mouths. Does it make a difference that the GOP would ban putting a ####### in your own mouth and the Dems would ban a cigarette? It is my mouth dammit! What I put in it has no affect on your or anyone else. If what I put there gives me AIDS or gives me cancer, why do you care? That question will be answered when the Dems use universal health care to control more of our lives in the interest of saving medical expenses that should be none of their business either!

What are you defending? A state that banned the carry of handguns in 1873 and only recently relented with the most convoluted concealed carry law I ever saw! And you call that "conservative"? They regulate what a girl has to wear dancing in a private club? Can you imagine a law requiring you to wear, on private property, a piece of fabric to cover the crack of your #### and at least 3" on either side? Exactly WHO's honor and sensibilities are they defending? The customer's? The dancer's? The dancer wants to make money showing her asscrack and the cutomer wants to pay her to see it. Sounds mutually beneficial to me and a prosperous small business (maybe big business, depends on the @ss I suppose)

Heck, MASSACHUSETTS allows open carry of handguns, Texas STILL does not! Meanwhile, Vermont, the "most liberal state" has never, ever banned the concealed or open carry of handguns, requires NO permit or license AND allows butt and oral seks without restriction, or even limits on participants We also allow public nudity anywhere, anytime and never seem to have a problem (except the occasional drunk college student, but not after September...too freaking COLD) and there are NO strip clubs in Vermont! I can go to my local grocery store, wearing nothing but a holster and my handgun. Can you? Who has more freedom? (Rob & Mel just ran screaming from the room)

Secondly, if you're going to talk about English skills, it makes you look a bit silly when you mis-spell words in the same sentence. There's always a bit of snarkiness on VJ, but I think you need a bit more practice at it, because you failed right there
