I have a philipino friend who has been married 3 years and now her husband has thrown her out of house, she has no money and no place to stay here. I know she has rights but have no idea what kind of rights. Anyone know anyone she can talk to? thanks

She has the same rights as any other married person living in the US, and is normally based on her three years of marriage, only a good divorce attorney can advise her how to proceed. She can also try for some type of public assistance, which may come back to haunt the USC husband as he is on the hook for 10 years for that type assistance. Her future US legal status will depend on type of green card she is holding. As you did not mention if she did have a green card or not, that could complicate the situation substantially
