hi,i'm new.if uscis approved ur k1 petition without pictures of the engagemeent,can the embassy deny it?or will uscis let them know about it?because uscis knows about the problem in a letter that was send to them.pls give me ur view it will be so helpful. thanks

and i am wondering ur case was approved by USCIS without ur pics on the packet..? :unsure:

Yes the consulate can still deny you.

That being said, many people do not have an engagement ceremony. In some cultures/ countries, it would be suspicious not to have one (I know it has raised red flags in Vietnam), but in others, such as Western Europe, it would be normal. The COs are familiar with the local culture. If you have plenty of other bonafide relationship evidence, you will be fine.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

and i am wondering ur case was approved by USCIS without ur pics on the packet..? :unsure:

this is what happen,i was in africa sept of 09,this guy and i met when i was there.we started this relationship we got engaged few days to my departure.i had a camera with me that i used to take all the photos of the engagement,friend,and familys.i told him at the time not to batter getting another camera,that i was going to mail him the photos on my return to the usa.well that did not happen,i was at the mall and somebody stole my pocketbook and i had my camera in it.when i file the petition i wrote a letter to uscis about the missing of my photos,but i had other prove of the relationship.so i hope uscis will let the embassy know about the letter i send.

my case is approved,waiting for NVC i have other proved so i will pray that things go my way.
