I checked my case status OMG..I received RFE... I am asking everyone here how long its takes if we received RFE? then if I forwarded all the documents that they needed..what is going to do next? My husband is really upset to hear that and he got so depressed..

Guys pls..help us and advice me alot..

Oh man! I am so sorry to hear that. I have no idea how long an RFE from USCIS takes. You could always call USCIS tomorrow and see if they can tell you how long or what it was about. Hopefully it isn't anything major. Any ideas of what it could've been? Good luck and let us know what happens please. Maybe it won't take too long and then they will send you your NOA2.

-NOA 1 Receipt date: 3/1/10 (sent 2/18/10)

-Touched 4 different times in between

-APPROVED: 6/2/10

93 days from NOA1 to NOA2

-Received NVC case number: 6/9/10/10

-Gave NVC my e-mail address & e-mailed DS3032: 6/10/10

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-IV Bill shows as paid: 6/6/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-AOS package received: 10/19/10-J.Desmond

-IV Package mailed out: 11/3/10

-AVR says I have an RFE: 11/5/10

-NVC operator told me what my RFE's are: 11/8/10

-NVC sent checklist letter (for the 2 AOS RFE's): 11/13/10

-NVC operator says the IV package has been entered: 11/18/10

-E-mailed SUE to see if that would do anything (3 diff times...): 11/29/30/10

-Sent AOS RFE's: 12/1/10

-AOS RFE's received: 12/2/10

-Checked payment portal for fun (SIF!!!!): 12/3/10

-AVR still say AOS missing info: 12/3/10

-NVC operator says case was shipped to USE in Lima: 12/3/10

-Received interview date (12/13/10): JANUARY 6th, 2011!!

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)

sorry to hear that but dont worry. I dont't know exactly how long it will take (no one does) but I did a few searches through the forums, and it looks like the vast majority of RFE's that request additonal documents seem to clear up in about 1 month.

11-June-2010 'touched'

25-October-2010 NOA2

01-November-2010 NVC Received

03-November-2010 Placed into AP at NVC : (

18-November-2010 Case Sent to Manila 18 days in AP..not too bad!

6-7 December- 2010 Medical at SLCC...PASSED!Thank you Lord!

20-December-2010 Interview, USEM VISA APPROVED!

3-Jan-2011, Visa received

12-Jan-2011, POE SEATTLE WASHINGTON USA

11-Feb-2011, Married in Minneapolis MN : )

Hello, thank you friend for replying me back. What are the normally RFE in USCIS? OMG..I am really upset and depressed now like my husband too. Ok i will tell to my husband to call USCIS what they need so that me and my husband we will started to prepare some documents that they needed.. I pray RFE in our case not a major.. Pls..guy's kindly consider me and my husband in your prayers..

Did your husband send a copy of what all he sent to USCIS? Maybe if you wouldn't mind sharing, we could tell you if we see something missing. Good luck with everything!

RFE's usually don't take that long as long as you will send them what they need right away. I got 2 Rfe's the whole time we are dealing with my kid's I-130 and in a week it's all taken cared off. Just give them what they want and follow the instructions .

Opps, I don't have anything. I always told him if he sending completely, he said yes and I follow what USCIS needed, I will be surprise if we receive RFE as per my husband. In my thinking I think USCIS need some other supporting documents, I hope this is not major RFE.. OMG.. I am so depressed at this moment..We don't have idea what RFE's they needed..

RFE's usually don't take that long as long as you will send them what they need right away. I got 2 Rfe's the whole time we are dealing with my kid's I-130 and in a week it's all taken cared off. Just give them what they want and follow the instructions .

Yeah, only says they need RFE request. They didn't say my case deny..Only they need RFE request. Ok, I will give you the feed back what they say..but of course me and my husband need to know what USCIS needed..

7/2/10- NOA1

2/9/11- NOA2 (transferred to Texas)

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

Its ok God be with you, If you send them right away RFE yes ASAP ... they'll get back to you with in weeks time. RFE's usually don't take that long as long as you send them all RFE... what they need right away
