Ok just need total clarification on this one, I called the NVC today and got my MNL #, they also told me the package was sent to US embassy in Manila on June 14th. So to speed this process up I have her call up St. Luke's and tell them we received our packet from Manila and take up our NOA2 and MNL# to have a medical exam. Then once she does her exam I call up the call center for the embassy and tell them that they have received my packet and I need to set up an interview for her? Now I have been told from my lawyer that all I need was 2 years worth of w-2's and got her bank statements and check stubs, should I send recent stubs? And when we sent in the packet to the USCIS we filled out the I-129f, g-28,g-325 for both of us, i-134, statement from my employer, copy of my birth certificate, copy of my passport with stamp, copies of intineraries, copies of pics of us together, copies of her birth certificate, copy of excerpts from skype chats, two passport photos of both of us (4 total). What should she have filled out and bring with her? Thanks Steve

It is unnecessary for anyone to call St. Lukes. St. Lukes does not make appointments. They operate only on a walk-in basis. The beneficiary needs show the guard their NOA2 and MNL case number. Take along a passport, a pen, three passport photos, info about the petitioner, a jacket, comfortable shoes, a snack, and $214 in Php.

Then once she does her exam I call up the call center for the embassy and tell them that they have received my packet and I need to set up an interview for her?

You won't be telling the Embassy anything. They will be telling you. Make the interview appointment as soon as your packet arrives at the USEM and is entered into their system. Don't wait for the beneficiary to take the medical exam. Call the call center to find out when your packet arrived at the USEM and was entered into their system. When your packet is entered into their system, that is the time you will be allowed to make an interview appointment. Start calling the call center now. No matter what they tell you, call them back every day until you make an appointment. If they ask whether the beneficiary has received notification from the Embassy, tell them yes.

Now I have been told from my lawyer that all I need was 2 years worth of w-2's and got her bank statements and check stubs, should I send recent stubs?

At this stage, the petitioner must provide the beneficiary with the documents needed for the interview. The beneficiary will need, at a minimum, the petitioner's I-134 form, a 2009 income tax return, a 2009 W-2, several recent paycheck stubs, an employment letter, an updated letter of intent to marry, and proof of an ongoing relationship.

I don't know what a g-28 is. However, the I-134 and the statement from your employer should not have been sent to the USCIS. You might want to send updated copies to the beneficiary before the interview, The beneficiary needs to fill out a DS-156, a DS-156K, and a DS-157.

Just wondering if a "bank statement/bank letter" is really needed for my fiancee for her interview. I've read from past posts that some people have provided it but it seems that a few 1040's, W2's and paystubs should be sufficient enough.....

I don't think a letter from your bank is necessary. However, I sent my bank statement to my then-fiancée.
