On my wife's I-797C for her green card interview, there is a box that says that we should bring "Original and copy of each supporting document that you submitted with your application. Otherwise, we may keep your originals for our records." What documents is it talking about? I've submitted 5 million different documents over the course of the application process. They can't possibly want everything again. Or is it just talking about the documentation that is specifically outlined in this Notice of Action? That is:Birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc.

Thanks in advance.

They're just talking about supporting documents you submitted in support of the AOS petition. As you mentioned, birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, etc. Pretty much anything you sent a photocopy of with the petition. This does NOT include forms you filled out. If they have any questions about a copy that was submitted with the petition then they may ask to examine the original document at the interview. If you don't bring an extra copy for their records then they may keep the original document for their files. In all likelihood, they won't even look at the original documents, but you need to bring them in case they ask.
