I-130 Processing times

Hi everyone, I just joined and i am confused about processing times. I have an NOA1 of June2, 2010 for my I-130. I am trying to make a reasonable estimate of when my wife can arrive in the U.S. My wife is from Ukraine and my case is at the CSC. I understand the CSC will require about 5 months. I dont think that is the entire process or am I wrong. My VJ timeline gives me a September adjudication date. I know the process depends on me doing my part correctly and I expect to do just that. When is a good estimate of when she can arrive? We really miss each other and being a apart is difficult for us. Thanks in advance for any help.

The 5 months processing time is for USCIS only, then it goes to NVC. Read the guides and start gathering what is required for that stage. Check out the regional forum as each Consulate is different.

Plan on at least 8-9 months. Best of luck ...

We filed ours in November 2009, and now it is still with NVC - so, for today it has been more than 9 months total!

One of the cool things that I like to do (well, cool to me, anyway)

is to review the timelines from THE PORTAL.

Yer homed to UKRAINE, so click on yer flag - that'll drop you to the portal.

Then -

in the left hand side, click on yer visa type -

then sort by the NOA-2 date, or the interview date, and study the prior time-ticks for each member.

I glean lots of trends this way - perhaps you can, also ?
