Once they have received your AOS documents, USCIS will send you a letter scheduling your biometrics with your local office. Many people have been successful doing a 'walk-in' before the appointment date in the letter - just a hint!

Biometrics is simply USCIS taking your fingerprints and a photo for your ID.

I do! The main thing is to not stress. It also happens to be the hardest thing LOL. Good luck on your process, that all goes smooth. If you have any questions on the paperwork or process, post them, there are a lot of people here that help out with great advice.
