Hi,

Please dont rely on what your USCIS account says.It always shows Initial review even though half of ur work gets done at the backend.Well once your I-130 is approved, you will receive a maler from them on your contact mail id that you must have provided. This is the initial step so ut takes a time period of 1-2 months.Neednt worry. The rest of the stuff speeds up later.

I have few questions in my mind plzzzzzz help me to solve it.....

1) how can i find that my I-130 approved or not also(my USCIS account my case is on "initial review" from september 2009)?

You could call the 1-800 number that is listed, but the operators dont have any useful information, as they just read from a script (think flowchart answers to your questions). I would make an InfoPass appointment (info is at the USCIS website), or just google it. You can actually meet face 2 face w/ a local USCIS officer at the local USCIS office and they can give you more specific information.

2) how much time is left to get visa interview?

you've still got a little ways to go. even if you got approval from USCIS today, you're looking at an average of 3 months to interview (if all your paperwork is in order).

3) number of steps from I-130 approval to visa interview.

a few. the next step after USCIS is the NVC stage. There is a flowchart in the guides section http://www.visajourney.com/examples/NVC_Process_Flowchart_v1-2.pdf that outlines the steps after approval to interview. You'll have to get a medical done as well (in the final stages, right before your interview).

4) does my I-130 can approved in last year when my wife was greencard holder(does I-130 can approved on green card) ?

yes, but from what i've read, it takes upto 2 yrs to get approved if the petitioner (your wife) is a green card holder, as opposed to a US citizen. if US citizen, then it can take upto 5 months (5 months and 10 days for me and my wife). check out the approval timelines in the processing times section of VJ. i think average time nowadays is 3 months (?) for CR-1...hope this helps and good luck.
