Hello, i am pretty new here.

Need some help n Tips on my AOS from an F-1 to a Resident.

My situation is..

-Visited with a B1/B2 Visa in December

-Decided to go back to school and applied to a school here in the U.S for post-grad studies.

-Got married to my long time Girlfriend.

-School required i get an F-1 before enrollment.

-So i applied to the USCIS for a change of status from B1/B2 to F-1 (After i got married to wife who is currently a USC, didn't want to wait the long wait for an AOS to temporary resident, and felt getting an F-1 would be faster so i could start school immediately)

- Application got approved and i had my F-1 and new I-94 sent to me in approx 5 weeks.

- Now wifey wants to file so i can become a full time resident and Obtain a work permit for future job applications when am done with school.

-She goes to school in a different state, but is home during most holidays.

-We have enough evidence to show evidence of marriage ( M.Certificate, wedding pics, Wedding reception pics, Vacation pics, Auto and Life insurance documents, C0-Bank accounts e.t.c)

-My concern is would any issues arise from the Long distance? She used to live with her folks out of state where her school is, but only moved in with me after we got married, but still has to go to school from their house (to save on rent money e.t.c)

Would need advice on extra documents to provide....and any tips from people who have been in my shoes.

Thanks.
