Hi Guys,

I went for my K-1 interview on the 3rd June, I was asked for last years tax return from my petitioner, which I supplied the next day. I went to the consulate and asked what was happening. I was told I had been approved and I must pay DHL to ship the passport and famous brown envolope. I phoned to enquire about the visa on Monday the 14th, I was told the visa was still in the process of being printed. I phoned again Yesterday 17th and was told that one of my childrens photographs had drawn a red flag in Washington and once they had looked at it they would issue the visa. is this normal does anyone have any idea as to what is going on?

You are now in 'AP' Additional Processing.

Suggest you have the USC Fiance/e call DoS Hotline (# in my profile), get a Human, inquire for status, ask if casefile was placed in AP.

Did they tell you which of the childrens' photographs was red flagged?

What is the age of that child if they told you?
