If'n you say so, Alan. That's your second Freddy Mercury reference in as many weeks.

I liked Freddy - I used to buy Queen before he died which is unusual.

Before a concert of 100,000 people they asked him what it was like performing in front of so many and he said " I don't know I haven't done it yet"

Zanzibar English and qualified for PM but not for Queen (the real queen)

I'm not entirely sure. I think before we had the baby he would have gone back. Now I think he would prefer to raise baby here. Life in Morocco is not easy once you have lived abroad IMO.

I can understand that

But if there was no baby ? I suppose it depends on so many factors - jobs - friends age etc and sex too - no, not whether you can find any. I mean living must be easier for a man on his own ?

Some women do very well on their own if they have friends whereas a guy can just go park in a bar but doesn't do as well back at the house - usually

I am not likely to go back to my country because I am the one who wanted to move back to the US.

However, there is a slight chance that I might change my mind depending on jobs, kids, health problems, etc.

There are always pros and cons for living in a country whether you are a citizen of the country or not.

Plenty of em and that's for sure.

Been to Odessa - but I prefer someone with a bit more meat on em and lower heels

you will know what I am saying

chuckle

Of course. I would suggest giving Kiev a try. There is about 3 million women there and a couple of them are not so slender and beautiful and wear low(er) heels. I hear some women there have even taken to wearing pantyhose (yuck) I cannot confirm the last rumor, I never saw any in Ukraine.

My wife says she would go back but ... there's a whole list of buts and Ifs and whens... I don't think she would go back, not unless she was near retirement age.

yes the elephant's graveyard that they all head for when they get old...

My friend in England says I will go back one day when it's time for the elephant's graveyard

Imagine being alone here at 85 years old in sheltered housing - Imagine trying to talk to people who are deaf . Even people who are not deaf can't figure my accent now.

A lot of Polish immigrants into the UK suffered with mental health problems in later years because living and talking in another language is stressful. Arny always looks like he is trying.

I would probably go back.. only because I don't really have anyone here besides my husband..

I think that is the norm nowadays..

The ones in England that had wide circles of friends did not have really close friends.

They were like a dinner club really - all going to each others houses and eating fondues and going on about how much their houses were worth

I think most people have 3 or 4 friends they have collected over the years - mostly from work - plus their families.
