If you already have a NVC case #...Call NVC and ask them. They have always been helpful to me.

I mailed the Original from Morocco and a copy I printed here from copier, and I sent the English translation of the marriage certificate from Morocco and I also made a copy and sent it as well...all translated in Morocco with the official Moroocan stamps/seals........Im not sure of NVC requirements, so if you are trying to save international mail time, call first to be 100% sure before you get it translated here in the USA. NVC will guide you and all originals will be sent back to the Embassy or to you if you ask or include letter detailing you need them back.
