Hi Everyone.

I hope someone can help me.

My wife has applied for her mother to come to the us. She was approved at the NVS on June 7. "case complete"

She missed the July appointments and when I spoke to the NVS they told us she would be scheduled in August when they make the schedule in July.

Here is my question. Is there any way of getting the appointment scheduled early? I messed up on the paperwork for her and that delayed it.

No I feel bad that my wife will not be able to have a summer vacation with her mother.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

As soon as you have appointment letter (assuming emailed appointment letter)

wait one week

then email/fax the Embassy IV unit, requesting earlier appointment date.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Do you know if I need to wait until July to get the appointment. The NVC told me that they only make appointmens on the second week of each month.

Interviews for July are more or less, already scheduled. Next round of scheduling will take place for August interviews.

Once you have the interview, you may email the embassy asking for an earlier date. They may or may not be able to honor that request. Depends on their availability.
