Well, I gave the OIC at the embassy a week to reply...

I just called my Congressman... I was told the lady who handles these matters should be calling me shortly.

Hopefully this will be some fire under their azz.

*UPDATE*

I discovered that my Congressman's Constituent Services Office is literally across the street from my work. :wow:

I just walked into their office, looked the lady in the eye, told her my story and handed her all the paperwork she needs to make a formal inquiry. :yes:

I agree, gives them something familiar to discuss,their home! We walked around a lot. I was in so much pain when I got home, not to mention what should have been a 45 min drive turned into a 2 hour drive! Traffic was a b**** and there were about 3 accidents (glad I wasn't one of them given my current track record on my car). I took a hot bath in epsom salts, popped some motrin and hubby rubbed my foot for me, which helped me so much! (Thanks hubby!). He made me breakfast this morning too :blush: I will be at the chiro's first thing in the morning.

Ouch, but glad hubby made it better. We went shopping as we said we would and it was so much fun, it felt great to hear hubby say "baby get what you want, I got it" In the end I didn't get nothing much, I let him get more things for himself since it was his 1st pay. I just miss him so much since he got this little hustle going on but I ain't gonna complain because we needed this extra money in our budget.

That psychic reading really got me thinking, talking bout 5 kids!! I'm anxious to see if I'm really gonna be prego by september :D

I just loved it when she said my 1st born will be a girl because boy oh boy I just want a baby girl oh so badly!! :yes:

Yesterday was really nice, me and hubby met up with Tee, Reg and Mo and eventhough Mo only stayed for a short time, it was nice to meet her. Steve couldn't pull of his fake birthday trick again because they don't sing at ruby tuesdays :blush:

Good Morning All,

Hope everyone is doing well. Hope everyone had a great weekend as well.

Is anyone a nurse on here? I currently have my BA in Business/Human Resources and work as a Workers' Compensation Specialist, However, I been wanting to get my Nursing Degree, with the hours I work this has made it difficult for me to persue it. However, I am signing up for a Medical Assistant program that is 9 mnths long it will start next month and then I am looking to transfer into the RN program immedately following which I have been told is not a problem by several people at different schools.

I just wanted to get a perspective from a nurse's standpoint if this would be a good move because I remmeber several years back you had to do the LPN and then RN after the Medical Assistant program and believe you me, I do not want to go through all those hurdles.

Morning Always Blessed! I'm sure someone on here is a nurse. I have a girlfriend who left her job as a paralegal and she's now in the nursing program...but I have no clue what that whole process entails. I know she has started smoking recently...poe thang. I know that nursing is a hot field so I wish you nothing but the best. They're definitely always in demand.

morning everyone!

hope everyone had a nice weekend! we had a nice one....hubby and the girls and me (my son ditched us for his friends) went to the lake and had a picnic and flew our kite on saturday, we had people over saturday night for drinks, and sunday grilled out for fathers day..

the weekend went by way to fast tho....and here we are again..

my cousin has a BA in something (unhealtcare related) and is in a program to be an RN and it is only a year program...

i can't wait til my girls are old enough to go! i didnt go to disney til i was 20 and when i saw minnie mouse i was so excited and hugged her like she was for real.. :lol::luv:

I'm sorry I can't give you any useful info but best of luck in whatever you decide. Also, the last person you want to give you infp is someone that works at the school, they will try in every which way to get you to enroll and its very costly. Try setting an appt with a college advisor or someone in the nursing program at a college.
