Morning peeps! monday already????!!? ugh!!

So hubby's b-day bashment was really great and a lot of fun!!

Items left behind by partygoers:

2 wallets

1 camera

1 cellphone

1 blanket

3 coolers

3 shirts

1 pair of slippers

about 10 dishes/platters/bowls

Interesting happenings by partygoers:

1 girl walking a round all night cussing her bf on her cellphone

strip poker in the garage

a guy and a girl going into my dark basement and returning to the party 20 minutes later

a dude walked by the front porch and asked my aunt and i if we sold weed

a friend taking over the microphone and singing along to the music for about an hour thinking he really sounded good

a guy passed out in the shower while several people used the bathroom until hubby kicked him back to the backyard

a few white girls thinking they could dance but really looked like they were having a siezure

the list goes on and on..... :lol:

When are you inviting me to the next party? I just need a chair, a bottomless glass, and some people watching time!!!!!

Dillon......Memphis, TN....

Been there. Liked it. I went for the dog track. GREAT BIG mall there. Saw Graceland, BB King's Resturant, the big pyramid, etc. Besides really bad street beggers (picture worse then Chicago), it was fun.

Ironically, I went through Memphis a few weeks ago on the way back from Alabama. But, I was all drugged up on pain meds and actually don't remember a second of it. Chuck has funny stories to tell about it. Kind of like your snoring stories only he was smart enough not to video me. We really have to catch up. I have a lot to tell you.

Nashville was fun too.

Morning Everyone! Busy day today at work so I will be on but in and out!

JG, good to see you dropping in. Miss ya. I'm claiming that something is going to come your way soon! I'm with you on getting use to being able to be on my own schedule and do what I love to do...hmmp, if only I could get paid to do that. I need to figure something out!

Jamerica, hi! Definitely will be praying for you guys, but no worries, you and your hubby will be fine! I hope all is well.

Maybe you are right. Interview tomorrow and another Wednesday. Wednesday is through a recruiter.....job turns out to be in my own OB/GYN's office. I hope that's a good sign.

A ghost!!!! I'm around we really do need to meet up I always have so much fun with you.

MARK THIS DOWN:

September.......some Friday.....not sure when yet.

We are planning a big group going to the Complex to see my friend, Tyler's, drag show. My friend Derrick and his friend. Me, Chuck, Marla, Jules, Chris and his GF at the time, Glen....and whomever else I can find. Derrick was the one is the gold thong and gold dust in a FB picture sent to me....if you happened to see it. Anyhow, even if you can't talk hubby into braving it, YOU better go with us. It is so much fun. Derrick wants us to go to a questionable club on Saturday and make a weekend of it; but I'm not sure I'm in on the Saturday one yet.

I am over here all the way turned up...just booked our tickets for September JA return home trip! :dance::dance::dance:

Um, NO.......I've seen Titanic. I'm out on a cruise. I am not slowing drowning while the band plays on!!!!

However, if you all stop in the Bahamas, I will meet you there. Maybe my aunt will let us use her house there.

I'm out for the night ladies. See you all Wednesday about this time.

My beloved Cardinals just hit 3 home runs in this last inning. I have to go watch the end of the game.

Morning all!

I'm attempting Oxtail for the first time. Yikes! Any tips? Bless my husband and his tastebuds. I am no idea what I'm doing. :help: Speaking of cooking. What other sides are good to serve my hubby? I'm sick of the same old..rice, yam, and dumplins. I know he's used to that, but thought I could mix it up a bit.

How did the oxtail turn out? Have you tried making other sides? I have found that with DJ, if I talk about them he might not try them - if I just cook and put it in front of him, he eats and loves it. One thing I made that he loves was chicken with Thai Peanut Sauce (package mix, lol) - Said it was like a spicy peanut punch.

Try these for ideas - the Jamaican eats magazine is EXCELLENT, I have made many good things from there:

Yes it is his nickname and don't really know who he got it...you know there are bout 10 different stories depending on who you ask. Hubby said he gave him that nickname because Hubby liked Jazz music when baby momma was PG rated.

Gurl we FOUND the bike. I believe my son had it but forgot it wherever he took it and tried to play it off.. it was right where we left it when steve and I got home..kissteeth... ugh wait until I get his rass. I aint gonna say nuffn but put a guilt trip from hell on his life!

Well I was wrong, my daughter found the bike on a dead end street, so someone did take it but we got it back...Sorry son
