To address any above issues with the speed of the site and the search tool, I am having VisaJourney migrated to a server that is about 2x as fast. The migration will occur at 1AM EST and last for up to two hours. I apologize for the down time, but after months of trying to fix the slowness with software and tweaking, I think it is time to bite the bullet and pay for the upgrade -- we need it.

Oldest son now 21 I-130 filed by LPR dad ( as per NVC CSPA is applying here )
I-130 approved 2/24
Priority date 12/6/2007
4/6/2010 letter from NVC arrives to son dated 3/4/2010
5/4/10 received AOS and DS3032 via email
9/22/10 Interview BOG Passed
10/3/10 POE JFK all went well

Since this updates, Emoticons doesn't work good. I don't know if it's only me or not though...

Sorry if it's just my PC's problem...

These are new "events" so I set those as the defaults. You can disable via the control panel. Suggestions on defaults is welcome.

Yeah, I disabled them. I just wasn't sure if you knew that our previous settings had been wiped out.

I like the new feature that emails you when someone quotes you in a reply to the thread!

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.

Anyone in the same situation? I think now Emoticons and quote tags doesn't work good together:(

If I make simple post without quote, Emoticons works fine...

Any suggestions??

new content returning results now, but in a very odd order.... its like all ove the results are spread accross the pages evenly rather than 1 page at a time in chronological order...each of the 3 pages I see now of results is topped by one of the 3 most recent posts...

speed is better and emoticons are working 4 me again

Ok... I am wrong... I dumped the cache of new content by marking all as read... checked new content 10 minutes later and not a single post... not likely that there have been no new posts... so Its not working for me now.

I only have a script that runs every 20 minutes to rebuild the search index and new content list. Check back in 20 (from when you cleared things) :).

Gotcha..its pulling posts in again.. I assume the only issue I see is how the query results are populated to the results pages when there is more an 1 page of new content results...

Edit: results look normal again.. thanks...
