So....I'm kind of worried and I wanted to see what you all thought about this...

We sent in our I-129F on 6/5/2010 (It was a Saturday, right before they closed, I know they don't mail on Sunday...) So today is the 16th and I haven't seen anything or heard anything yet...but I see that other people on here are getting them in a few days...then there is us who have been waiting 11 days and nothing so far. I'm looking in my bank account everyday waiting for them to cash my check but it's been nothing so far. :( I'm starting to worry that something is wrong. I double checked the address for the VSC and I wrote the address down correctly. I also read that some other ppl got a text message on their phones, or a phone call. We are just wondering what the reasons could be as to why we haven't received any signs or anything yet.....

Should I call and ask what is going on? Let it go for a few more days?

well i would advice to wait a bit longer it took 2 months for me to hear from them...it all depends on how busy they are...but if you can't wait call them to see what's the deal...eventually they will sent it and let you know they got your petition.....Good Luck!!

I'm G the Beneficiary! we sent our package on June 3rd and it was delivered on June 6th. I totally understand how you feel, our check hasnt been cashed and we havent heard anything from them :( .. just hang in there! but I totally feel ya! we check every day her bank account its such an awful feeling not to know whats going on.. just give it some time, Im pretty sure nothings wrong and you will get your NOA1 soon! and believe me you are not the only want waiting for the check to be cashed! I have other friends who sent their package close to when we mailed ours and they are still waiting so Cheer up! :) I read somewhere that it can take up to a month sometimes, not trying to bring your hopes down... just trying to let you know that the fact that it takes a while doesnt mean something is wrong with it! Im sure things will be good for you

Good luck in your journey :)

Wow, 2 months to get your NOA1? I hope we don't have to wait that long....This waiting is driving me crazy already and it's only been 11 days, I just want to hear something from them and get this thing going already. We are tired of having to wait for forms and documents....it gets old very quickly.

It's good to hear that there are other people in the same situation as we are....it makes me feel not as alone. Thanks for cheering me up guys, I'll wait a little longer I suppose and see what happens.

What postal method did you use when you sent it in? If you sent it by regular mail (i.e. no tracking number) then that could be the source of the "delay" since normal postage can be slow depending on where you sent it from.

Once VSC cashes your check, you can sign up for the e-mail and/or text message notifications here: My Case Status using the number printed on the back of the check (which is usually EACxxxxxxxxxx). Just give it a few more days; I'm sure you'll hear from VSC soon.
