not likely.... try another agent and have them look at 2 way ticket options as well.. they are often cheaper than 1 way...

Not aware of any service.. after you get the tickets... get maps for each airport and have her print them out.. as well as notes in english that she can give to agents, or information desks to get assistance... it will take a bit of planning on your part to make it seamless for her... the airline can be a great help.... the agent that helps her at check in can make notes on the ticket for the trip that lets others along the way know that she does not speak english and will need assistance... with luck, she will only need to go through 1 layover airport without you...

Have her talk to the airline agent in VN when she leaves. They can help her out on understanding some of it, boarding, gates, terminals, ect. She can also find some Nguoi Viet coming to the US that could help her. Tuyen ended up talking to an older couple coming to Minnesota that helped her.

Tell her don't be afaid to ask for help. Tell her to relax and try to enjoy the flight. I remember my wife was so nervous on her flight over here, and I was travelling with her. I remember her asking would it cost money to use use the restrooms at SGN. Tell her that if she's hungry or thirsty on the plane, it's perfectly fine to ask for something to eat or drink.

 Get a new agent, or use kayak.com. I ran HCMC to Chicago for July 3rd and came up with a price of $986.

Congrats on the pink.

She just called a few agents, prices for one way ticket weren't less than $1350 (July 10-15).

@Mr.Saigon: You got good deal
