I use a push pin to excavate the secondary "blow hole" opposite the sippy hole. That lets enough air in so you don't get "splooshage" back up the sippy hole as you pull the cup from your gob.

You *do* get a weird foam mark on your nose bridge if you're not advanced at it, tho.

I enjoy watching other ppl drink $8 coffee.... me, i make my own at home in a coffee press. bajillion times better (not burnt n oily tasting) and then get a ginormous travel mug (pony keg size to enjoy it all in). no spillage, i get my coffee fix for the year all in one day (every day ) and I get to not spend $8 on coffee too.
