hi darell thanks for your reply i applied foe i360 battered spouse after my husband and i seooerated because of domestic volance it hab been almost 2 weeks heard nothing but got an approval for the i130 that my husband filed poost activity decision sent to the nvc waht dooes this mean

ok - are you adjusting status from some other visa type (tourist, student)

or did you come in on a K-1 visa ?

or something else?

I know much about the I-130, but as far as 'what is next' - and 'what to do next' -

it mostly depends on 'what you filed for' and 'what was prior status/visa type' .

If I have to guess, with the I-130 petition being approved, and with you being in the USA, I must think you (or yer husband) filed for complete AOS package , adjusting status from some other visa type. I am guessing, also, that you are IN the USA currently.

But I hate to guess. Please answer a bit more ?

yes i am in the us my husband filed the i130 but sence then we were seperated due to domestic violence so i filed the i360 battered sopuse visa about three weeks ago have not heard any thing yet.any ideas

you might want to check all again, for what was filed, and where you were when it was filed.

if you were overseas when the i-130 was filed, and are here now, and are using I-360 - you are OK to wait.

if you were here when he filed the I-130 , and did not file the I-485 concurently, then you'll have some problem about the I-360, I think so.

BUT - I am convinced I'm missing the bigger picture.

What visa did you hold, when he first filed the I-130 ?

hi i am in the us have been for 16 years nou got married to my husband 8 months ago we ahve been dating for5 years we had a domestic problem he was sentenced to 1 year probation and anger managenent for domestic battery i hane since filed i360 battered sopuse 2 weeks ago ahve not heard anything yet but got a notice that the i130 was approved and sent to nvc
