Welshie took the words outta my mouth...SBD phase one is great for some fast weight loss.

Good luck!

South Beach Diet, phase one is a great idea! Also, drink lots of water, not only does it help your body metabolize fat, it will get rid of any excess water. It sounds strange, but when you don't drink enough water, your body will hang on to extra water. So drink up!

I'd also like to add my #1 diet & good health secret: apple cider vinegar. It tastes like azz, but is omG so good for good health & fat burning. In fact, I even soaked a rag in it and put it on my bad knee & it took most of the swelling and bruising away, which was weird.

You may not believe it, and there is contradictory studies that say it is comprised of ancedotal evidence, but I can attest that it absolutely has (irony alert, lol)

It's one of my mother-in-law's favourite home remedies.

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

No salt! No beer! No bread (at least yeasty kinds)! These are the things the nice Italian lady yelled at me as I was trying on my wedding dress. Since it's only 9 days you could definitely drop a lot of water weight, etc, by avoiding those things and trying to eat really low cal stuff. Just beware it will all pop back on as soon as you start eating normally again.

I'm so glad I'm done with the wedding, I went through the same thing about being so scared the dress would fit. The stress of the wedding plus me worrying about what I ate actually made the dress too big, so I'm sure you will be fine!

Naturalization

Lots of water. Cut out carbs, eat lots of salads with chicken or fish on them.

NO SALT.

NO PASTA.

NO POTATOES.

NO SODA.

I read today that a soda a day = 10 lbs a year!

No carb/low carb def. drops weight.

Why no salt? Just curious.

Salt makes you retain water, therefore resulting in serious BLOAT!

I bought my wedding dress in the UK about 2 months ago..before i came back to the states on the K1.

IT fit in the store, but when my dress came in from the warehouse it was wayyy to tight, so they sent it off to be altered, it fitted a week before i came to the US. The thing is ive put weight on and my dress is still back in England, my mom is bringing it over when she arrives on Tuesday. So i cant try it on.

I tryed on my interview trousers and they still fit, but my bust is a little bigger in the shirt.

My wedding is in about 9 days time, any ideas on some quick weight loss??

LOL, maybe a miricle.

Lizzy,

Don't make yourself sick before your wedding, be reasonable. The dress should have seam allowances allowing you to make emergency alterations (2 sizes up or down). If not, there are undergarments for that purpose......a bridal store can help you with those.

I'm going to disagree a bit with that...you'll have these pics for the rest of your lives....don't give yourself the oppty to be all 'I really should have dieted more'

Not saying you're not going to look gorg...cos you will! ...but I know how *I* think, and that would be my thought, lol
