Hi everyone :)

We will be applying for AOS in about a month or so and I was curious if anyone was able to obtain the 2009 tax transcripts yet? They seem much cleaner than digging up the w-2s and the other forms that are escaping my mind right now...I have the 2008 and 2007 ones already, but I'm guessing strongly that we'll need something more recent

A quick search did not yield anything...

Well I keep hearing this situation, which is unfortunate. Hubby filed his 2009 taxes in Feb and I requested and received his tax transcripts in March... Its not impossible and can be done. I'd recommend faxing a request to the IRS and also sending a mailed request for quicker responses. The form 4506t says that it'll take 10 days but we got them in 3-4 days...

Just call the 800 number for the IRS. I've already had 2 sets of transcripts set. I sent the first one in and for whatever reason (they lost them)I got an RFE for not sending the previous year (2009) tax info. So I called and got a second set. Very easy.

Agree with previous. We filed our taxes in January, ordered the transcripts late Feb/early March, got them in less than 2 weeks.
