Dear One Day Will Be, your words are touching and express the sentiment of many going through this process with our Ghanaian spouse or fiance. Please know that vj as a website has done its part by providing this forum for us to share our experiences and learn from each other. Because of vj, several of the members have begun a writing campaign regarding this issue in Ghana. VJ also provides a wonderful tool called a "time-line" that helps to provide the statistics and estimates of process step completions. What we need is for each of us to do our part to raise the awareness of this situation to the right people.

Are you ready to do your part? Here are few suggestions:

1. Create and maintain your time-line on vj.

2. Join our fb page: US Embassy in Ghana: Help Unite Our Families, Not separate them - search this title on fb and you will find the page.

3. Participate in our writing campaign - you will find a the instructions and the sample letter in one several topics under the Ghana portal. Or, just request the details through our fb page.

4. Encourage your friends and family members to join our fb page and to write letters. You do not need to be a US citizen to send in the letter. Our family in Ghana are equally impacted by this situation.

Getting involved beats just sitting and waiting for someone else to come up with a miracle. Hope you and others will join us.

Staying strong and patient in love and faith!
