I filed the Adjustment of status forms for my Fiancee and first got a letter back informing me of an appointment for Biometrics testing. I then received a letter back advising me that I failed to submit a form 693 (medical form). Form 693 says I need to contact a civil surgeon from the list provided to have a medical examination done. Is this the same as the Biometrics or a different process all together? I know my Fiancee had some sort of medical before leaving the Philippines but evidently that wasn't enough. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am in the process of filing for my wife's AOS from a K1 also. It is my understanding that if you are a K-1 who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement, not the entire medical report.

However, you still need to submit an I-693 form with your DS-3025 (vaccination documentation worksheet) transfered, certified and sealed by a civil surgeon to the I-693 form.

Did you submit an I-693 form at all?

Well firstly you should be MARRIED by now so she is your WIFE.

Also, :time:. It is incredibly hard to answer qns when we don't know all the facts. How did you WIFE enter? How long ago did she enter? Has she ever had a medical done? etc etc.

Thanks for the info, Just wondering how you applied for and got a SSN? I called the SSN office and they told me I would have to have her AOS completed first. The lady I talked to didn't seem really sure of herself but if you have any good info on that I would appreciate it. Thanks!
