Part 6-Address & Employment if only 3 yrs in US

We are in the process of filling out the N400 for my husband that is going for citizenship using the marriage with a citizen for 3 years instead of the normal 5 years for others. While filling out Part 6 of the N400 we noticed they were asking for addresses and employment for the past 5 years. Should we include the information of addresses and employment before he came over on a fiance visa or are they asking for the information since he's been here?

The reason I'm asking is because the Instructions for N400 and the Naturalization Guide aren't clear on this.

I know it's a bit confusing. I ended up putting down trips on my N-400 from since I was living in the US thinking I needed to document everything. The IO at my interview stated that none of my trips mattered previous to filing for AOS (through marriage)...
