Going through the checklist they provided on the interview Documents and realized that a lot of the things they are asking for were submitted with the original petition. Will I need to provide these documents again? (i.e. Her Birth Certificate and Divorce decree with certified translation) I would think they would already be in the packet.

TIA,

Dave

That is good to know as I have the originals and sent in copies of the originals with the translation and certification. I am just concerned because we sent our last translations with the application.

YES. They were not needed for the petition (the BC was not needed, the divorce certificate was) and though they should have been sent to Kiev with the petition, they will ask for them anyway. adding unnecessary things to the petition does not excuse you from having them in Kiev and Kiev is strict about having all the documents.

You also will need to produce the ORIGINAL of each of those documents, a copy of the document and an ORIGINAL translation.

Sorry, you meant AOS, but the answer is the same. Bring them with you and bring the originals. They may not even ask to see anything, but don't go without it.
