Hello,

I paid the IV Bill on May 14th and payment cleared a few days later. I have yet to receive the DS-230. What is the typical wait time to receive the packet in the mail? Should I just move forward and send a filled out PDF form?

Thanks for your help.

My $400 payment for the IV bill cleared on May 17th. It's now June 14th. What is the typical timespan to receive the packet? Do I need to wait for the packet to send it out?

Do they even mail them out anymore? I suppose they do?

Anyway, you just print the barcoded sheet after you pay, fill in the DS-230, include the documents required and send it off, no need to wait for anything.

Have a look at the guide:

I'm assuming it's the same barcode that I sent off with the I-864?

No, print the cover sheet for the beneficiary documents and use it. This is not a K1 issue. It is CR1 or IR1.
