So how do i check online if my case package was forwarded by NVC to the embassy in Bucharest?Does my hubby need to call NVC and get a tracking number from them?Thanks

Use the following reference based on your date AVR says it was sent to embassy:

EXP 07 JUN 2010A

So if your AVR says you case was forwarded to embassy on June 08 then use the above reference if it says June 09 then use

EXP 08 JUN 2010A

and so on..you get the idea..so among all the packages going to all over the world one of them could be yours..Good luck.

i just callee AVR and it says that my case was forwarded to ISL on 14th june, i checked the dhl tracking but no results i used EXP 13 jun

and this was sunday so how can i track mu shipment

I just called NVC and my case was forwarded to ISL on 14-JUN-2010. DHL tracking show no results. I used EXP 13 JUN as the perimeter. This was Sunday. How can I track my packet.

If "EXP 13 JUN" didn't bring up any result, try "EXP 12 JUN 2010A" or "EXP 11 JUN 2010A." I checked all of these days for you. There was nothing that went out to Pakistan. The last thing that went to Pakistan was on 11-JUN-2010. You case will probably be shipped out today, 15-JUN-2010. You'll see it in DHL tracking site tomorrow. I posit.

I checked DHL to see what case files have arrived in Romania. I can see two of them being shipped on 9th and 10th of June, however, the embassy here replied to my email today and told me they did not received my case file yet.I am a little worried, should i be ?

I wouldn't be worried. International shipping of packages take some times. I mailed something EMS which was supposed to arrive in 3 business days. It took 13 days.

It may be yours....left Portsmouth on June 16th for Islamabad showing a ship date of June 14, 2010...

DHL indicates it is for one piece weight of 2# delivered today to Islamabad @ 3:02PM.

There is another package ships out on June 15th for Islamabad #8885435694.

Shows it is one piece weighs 3#. Currently in London on June 17th.

Not hard to track...use the website listed here....and the format given....

The thing I do different.....is to put the originating Zip code....

For the NVC it would be: 03801

If I don't get any results using the format "EXP 12 JUN 2010A" (where the number twelve is the date)

I will change the "A" to "B" or "C" and often will get results.

Also change to a different date.

I have seen some that show 2-3 pieces weighing several pounds..

Do not know how many cases are being sent in one package.

Give the "pickup date" a range of several days before and after the format date.

If you use the DHL tracking and you know when your package was sent....it will tell when it is signed for at the embassy/consulate.

the AVR updated after my package had already arrived at the embassy.

i checked 4 days before the AVR date and saw a tokyo package at that time. nothing else went to tokyo for days and days after the AVR date.

so if you already have an AVR date, it could already be theere.
