Ok...i'm going to try to write this calmly & retionaly, excuse me if I don't. Hicham was DENIED this morning...no questions asked or anything. They brought him back and said, We are not approving your case, we will be sending it back to the US and you can move on with the next step of marriage." Excuse my language, but #######!!! Why not tell him over the phone BEFORE we left...why make sure he brings his passport?? They gave no reason, just that. I'm trying to contact my congressman to see what the options are, but i know our case expires June 25th, so we don't have much time...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...I'm just fumming right now!! They meant to make us think he was approved RIGHT before I left...they knew when we were leaving  Ok...trying to breathe...I guess I should calm down before I write anymore or say something i might regret...lol Thanks everybody for the support.

They are amazing. Been there..... They just did not want you coming to the Consulate so they knew to wait until you left. Try to get your Congressman/Senators on them now before the case gets sent back. BTW they will tell you they sent the case back but usually it sits in Casa for at least 1 to 2 months. I hope you can get some results soon.

OMG! I can't believe it! I mean, if anyone can prove relationship, I would have thought you two could! WOW! I am so sorry for you. I would have thought your extended presence there would have helped. Well, the best advice I can offer is call your senator and congressman. Although they didn't help me. If it gets sent back, then you have to decide to wait it out or get married there. I was hoping for good news for you. If you need help, I recently posted a thread on the procedure there.

Monica,

I'm sorry you're going through this. It's such an awful roller coaster of emotions.

From what I've read and seen, one of the things you need to do is get as much information as possible about why it was denied. Write the consulate emails, call them - get specific information. Did they give him any paperwork? The denial paperwork? What did it say on it?

Take the energy from being pissed and use it to get stuff done. The above it right - you need to work to get it turned around before they send it back. It really sucks that they delayed the denial so you couldn't get married while you were over there. Seems like you gave them a little info and they used it against you, maybe?

There is also a lady out of an Ohio senator's office who is looking into the reason that there are so many denials out of Casa. She can't do the inquiry for you, but it might be good to give her the info of your case, especially since you and your daughter lived there for a while. She may be interested. Let me know if you (or anybody else) wants her phone #.

I am so sorry for the news, Monica! As one member stated, I was expecting that your extended stay was an added plus to your case. And as msheesha stated, make sure you get the reason for the denial so that if you decide to go the route of marriage and the CR-1, you can build your case to prove your case agaist that ruling. This is truely sad, but many of us can relate, unfortunately.

This might be a stretch and I don't know, but since he just got the denial today and they obviously were waiting for you to leave....any chance that you can go back to Morocco to the Consulate....like today or tomorrow while they still have the case while your senator is working on it? I don't know how much it will help but I do know it does take them a few days to send the file back.

Hi,

This was posted in another thread, and I was skeptical, but when I talked to her, she said that while they're not doing a formal inquiry they are asking questions about why so many people are being denied at Casa. She also said that unless you live in Ohio, she can't do the work with the consulate for you. But, I think the more people who complain to one centralized person, the better.

I cannot tell you how sorry I am to hear this. I just knew in my heart he was gonna be on the next flight out soon to be with you and your daughter. Not many interviews are being posted coming out from Casablanca, and I was so hoping this interview was going to give us all some positive hope. Stay focused and stay strong....

Passage Revelation 19:11:

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

God is realer and we are His sheep
which side are you on, CHOOSE, start moving your feet
