We sent the engagement ring receipt and Paul took my wedding dress receipt as further evidence and we were just fine.

I sent the ring receipt altho I didn't want to see the price!

There's NO WAY he's seeing that wedding dress receipt, he would DIE! :P

I am the cheapest person - NEVER PAY RETAIL! Poor Paul...he handed me the box and I say yes without even look at the ring then when he opened the box I think the first thing I said was, "YOU SPENT TOO MUCH!" :) He spoils me...it's gorgeous and something I would have never picked out myself because i don't like to spend his money, point out expensive gifts, etc. It's perfect.

As for the dress, I got it 40% off. :D My mom is like, are you picking this one because of the sale???? No, but it helps :D

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!

well, I got mine on 'sale' but believe me, I will never own any clothes this expensive in my life again. Good thing is, I could potentially wear it to a black tie event in the future as it's not a traditional fluffball at all...it's so me & very different!

I wish I could reuse mine, but while it's not fluffball it's definitley a wedding dress. Oh well, I'm not the pack it away sentimental type - maybe i'll just walk around the house in it when I've had a bad day at work

Make sure you post a few pictures from the wedding - I'd love to see it!

What I was really thrilled about were my shoes. SIGH, I LOVE MY SHOES (L)(L) Inexpensive and just the 50's RAT PACK look i was going for: http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/goldsatinshoes.html

NO LOOKING PAUL :D

Sorry about the post hijacking! We only do it because we know you're all set! :)
