I imagine there is a slighter delay for verification purposes, but it hasn't seemed to make a big impact just yet. We'll have to wait and see after the IMBRA dust settles.

I don't know how to answer this question! I don't think that there is an answer. The biggest thing to hold up an approval is security checks. I don't think that you would have an issue with this if you don't have a criminal backround but then again some random people with completely clean backrounds get stuck with this.. You may get some extra questioning at your interview about your past but divorces are not an issue as long as they are final. As far as the previous visa you may just get some questions about it. You never can know exactly what USCIS is thinking or doing so my advice would be to try and be patient and not worry cuz once its mailed off it's not in your hands anymore and you have no choice but to go with the flow! Trust me you dont want to crazy like I did I think you are gonna be fine!

Don't worry - there is no rhyme or reason to any of this. Don't try to figure it out or find any logic. We'll never never never know the answers to these questions. All we know is CSC is a BAD FAT MESS.

Guys, Einstein is the rule here. All is relative in this process.

There's no certain answer for that question. Some go slower, some goes faster, only USCIS knows why.

No, I was in no way lumping you with my previous post, but I'm not so sure about your fiance only being notified of prior approvals. The quesiton asks if you have ever filed an I-129f before, not if it was approved. Even if she does not receive some sort of 'formal notice' she'd see it on the I-129f.

The point of my prior post was just to inform you of my own personal experience, and that they probably would pull your prior file, and why they do.

Gupt, it is possible that your case is in security checks, mine was in security checks for 6 months before I received my NOA2, I would call CSC and ask them if this is the case.....

By the way, I am divorced also, and this is my second K1 petition, first one withdrawn - but for the same fiance, if that helps you any......

Technically, there is no difference. If you meet the requirements of I-129F, you should get your approval in a normal way.

What you can do for now is just to wait. If the time run out, you may need to contact USCIS or get help from your senator and congressman.

Yea, i responded to that previous post. She was approved, then never was at the interview since she went back to her ex during that time. She never got a visa, never came here...all she did get was pregnant from someone else while we were engaged! Why should I be punished for that......and my current fiancee knows (as she should). Actually, in the waiver request I explained my fiancee and I both understood that IMBRa meant I would be in a multiple filing database entry required and that my current fiancee would be notified of the previous petition.
