Putting the Oil Spill extent into perspective

This map shows the extent of area covered by the oil spill by overlaying it on a map and centering it on a locale of your choice. It is currently set up to include my locale and I believe will also quickly change to NYC, but you can type in your City's name - or any geographical location - and press 'Move the Spill' to visualize the extent of the oil spill if it happened in your listed location. is only due to currents & coastal characteristics of the Gulf.

This is tragic. An excellent example of why the left is so dangerous to the environmental security of this nation. Had they not impeded every effort by oil companies to drill on shore, they'd not have been forced to drill out at sea where clean efforts are next to impossible.

One can only hope America learns a lesson from this and puts the left in it's place. This November, defend the oil companies from the predatory tactics of the left. The ballot box is our only hope.
