SUPER CHEAP accommodations in Montreal!

For those of you planning your accommodations in Montreal, check out the McGill student residences. They're empty for the summer and are being rented out like hotel rooms. There are even rooms as cheap as $45/night at Royal Victoria College, which is a 10-minute walk from the consulate.

Now THAT is a deal.

But is it CLEAN?

That was my main concern since A LOT of the reviews on places like that were saying they were the furthest thing from clean... ew.

I didn't actually stay there, just passing along the tip.

I stayed at Hotel Plateau Royale, which was also great (and clean). $64 and a 10-minute ride from the consulate!
