Agreed, i'm sorry for my tone in earlier posts, but some of us have been waiting for well over a year for a chance to get our spouses to the usa. So we take it very seriously , If this guy has some hold up about marrying you, then don't waste your time with him.

Marriage should be because you guys really love each other , not a show for family and friends.

In fact , this proves how broken immigration is, you will have processed and went to the usa twice, in the time that some of us are still waiting. something is wrong with that mad.gif

I understand what you are trying to say.

but one can't judge not knowing exactly the situation..

he is very much willing to get married that last time we went, but knowing

that we will be living temporarily in the same house as his parents and not

having a good relationship is something no one wants.I got to give them respect

and I gain respect when I deserve iit and when

they feel like I deserve and I've proved to it them. I had said NO and I waited til they

give the blessing. It is most important to me.

It's not ALWAY WHAT YOU WANT..

but you have to consider what everybody wants in order to have a peace of mind.

Nothing we all can do but follow what we must in order to get the visa-- I know it is stressful but we have rules

to follow, and if things don't work out -- it's ok to start all over again as long as you know you are doing it right and

with honesty.. like I said... wait is a wait.. if people are meant to be together.. doesn't have to be in America..

it has to be anywhere where two can live together with no issues.. there is always ways to be together people

just have to stop thinking they have to make it in AMERICA.

I know this is a good karma for me respecting how others feel and think, especially if they're going to be part of

my life.

As far as I know-- K1 is a little bit easier to get than of the K3.. I can see you married in Manila. I've came across couples

who were married before applying for the visa and it took some of them a yr, considering the marriage cert you need

to get, and knowing PH, expect a very slow processing for that alone. Hence, it will take a little bit longer.

As for K1, we juz need to prove our relationship, and present proper documents that we aren't reviously married if so,

have had annuled, and criminal records. I think we deserve the second chance and it's broken immigration.

It is proper documentations. And it varies because of the situation. keep that mind.

and yes, re-applying does exist-- hence why there is IMBRAA, because it is part of the immigration procedure.

It's not like I submitted same old documents and boom! approved.. I presented all necessary documents to

make it under IMBRAA.. it's just same as other who applied for K1- visa but with different petitioner.

Are you telling me that people who fell in love again-- with a different person can't go back to USA?

they can't apply for the K1 again just because it's a diferent petitioner this time? mine isn't even complicated..

I have same petitioner.

Do you know what caused the holdup in your case?

Do you know what caused the holdup in your case?

For most filers in the IMBRAA cases or AWA cases it is always the so called Back Ground checks USCIS claims the FBI takes over a year to effectively execute a back ground check.

Which is totally BS IMO.

Adam walsh act, but , at this point it feels like discrimination

If I would have married a usa citizen, no questions would be asked, no 1 year long background checks etc. I dont see the difference in marrying a usa citizen vs marrying someone abroad , why one gets over a year worth of papers, demands , and scrutiny and the other isn't questioned
