Passport taken at St. Lukes

Hi VJers. I was planning on Venus having her physical and then doing her CFO either on that trip or on her return to Manila for her interview. If they take her Passport at St Lukes can she use a photocopy of the passport, birth certificat and maybe postal id for identification at the PRISM seminar? She lives in Davao and if she could just do the seminar in Manila I was planning to take her to Cebu, just to get the CFO sticker, when I visit PI to bring her back to the states. Any comments or planning suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I talked to my wife what she did for her CFO (July 09). Taking your wife's passport is normal at St Lukes. All she needs to do is go to the CFO with 2 valid ID's. She can take the seminars without the passport and will be given receipts. After her interview at the embassy, your wife's passport will be sent to her along with immigration papers. Just take out the passport from the clear plastic bag and go to the CFO office (with the receipts) and they will stamp her passport, very little wait. My wife did that the day before we departed for the USA.

Mhay had her postal ID and her SSS card for the interview. Yes she also had a photocopy of her bio page of her passport. She went to the CFO right after her interview at the embassy. Go to PRISM...it was only about an hour and a half to 2 hours.

Removal of conditions Journey

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.
