finally fucking moving

starting early tomorrow the move is on...the big sh!t gets moved on friday with a couple of friends helping out..the house is now fresh enough to move into..all walls painted,,all electricity outlets..switcheds changes..bathroom gutted .. floors cleaned on and ###### on and on and on since february 28...

anywayu, now starts my trip into hell..i am certain to run into dante along the way...i see much speaking in tongues...and sanita learning lots of new english words for her AOS interview..i hate moving

Where on the east side. Before I moved to peoria I lived in the Alton area all my life.

Been to Peoria often. My ex-husband was born and raised there. His dad and step-mom still live there. His father used to be a state senator... Grandma was a county tax collector... re-elected at the age of 94... amazing.

Moving is one of top-hated activities. So you have my heartfelt sympathy.

Yay on getting closer to the AOS interview though! Just think you'll both be settled in the new house with a shiny new green card by the end of the month! That's got to be a great feeling!

Good luck with the move!! One thing we've learned from moving TWICE!! in the space of 10 months is that it's a round-about way of getting rid of junk...or bringing junk everywhere you go :lol: There is still 1 box left in our garage that I've looked at - and closed up again!

10.13.2009......Received our interview date

10.29.2009......Successful interview!

11.5.2009........Visa received in post

11.7.2009........All the family flew to the US together :)

12.20.2009......Received Welcome to America letter

12.24.2009......10 year Greencard received in the mail
