Hi everyone i have some questions i hope you guys can answer.

First of all Aug. will be a year since i stared the visa journey dose anything happen after a year of having stared the journey and still not having the visa?

Also if you are in AP can you request another interview with the embassy to go and see whats is going on with the case?

And how long is the medical usualy vaild before it expires and if it expires before the visa is issued what happends and also the police record?

I was just wondering these thing and wanted to know if anyone has any answers. I know all i can do is wait while being in AP but i still have some questions.

The resson i ask about the interview is because one of my relatives after there interview they were requesed to send there marriage contract. and after they sent it they stayed in AP for 6 months! till the guy went back to the embassy and asked them whats going on. then the CO told him to wait a minute went check the case and turns out his case was just sitting there the whole time no looked at. so he told him everything is good and he got the visa the next day. so im worried that there waitting to see what we will do. its not like the jeruslam embassy is super busy or anything. i mean the only get 1000 emails a month. compaired to others who get over 20,000. so they need to step it up.

Thanks

~MQ

The visa application is good for one year, that is one year from when it was signed at the initial interview. The medical is good for one year. For us, when they were finally ready to give him the visa, he had a new medical and he was "re-interviewed" which was him submitting the new items and signing a new application. Also send a new affidavit of support as it is only good for (I think) one year.
