Can someone tell me what the I-94 card means in the visa. My husband came on the K-1 visa and the date on the I-94 is expired. We were married in the time we were supposto and now we are not sure what it means. Thnaks

The date on the I-94 is the date he entered on the K1 Visa. It expires 90 days from date of entry in the US, so that's what you are seeing. I supposed you already applied to adjust status? You need to do that immediately if you expect to remain in the US together.

If you were married in time before the expiration you will be fine. It will say on the petition when you got married. I think that the I-94 form is just used to show that your entry status was K1 and not another visa. That is what is important. i wouldn't worry about it! Good Luck

I got 2 different responses, I dont know which is right. We are filing aos now but im worried about the expired date. When I talked to immigration about an expired date on another part of the visa she siad the contract was to get married within the 90 days and we fullfiulled it so we are fine. I didnt ask about the date on the white paperI-94

Don't worry. You are required to marry within 90 days, not file for AOS. You are fine and legally in the country. Just don't leave!

The expired date on the I-94 doesn't matter as long as on your application it shows that you married on a date before that one! Which you are saying that it is. So lets say your expiration date was July 30th but you got married on July 3rd you will be fine becuase even though you didn't file AOS before that you married before that therefore you aren't breaking any rules!
