“Since we cannot know all that there is to be known about anything, we ought to know a little about everything.”

Wow, you are better educated and more worldly than most on here that are British, Canadian or American.

That's just amazing for someone who apparently resided in Tijuana. What were you saying about this being the net... ;)

Guess again. http://www.usnews.com/articles/education/worlds-best-universities/2010/02/25/worlds-best-universities-top-400.html

'Discern' as well? Even know about nuances of British English, like Chap or Mate. Where did you get this college level English lesson? Was it when you apparently resided in Tijuana?

Do you realize that when I said one, I did not bother to look it up, and assumed Australia had at least one on the list? Geez, you actually mean to tell me that you start looking up stuff just to try to come back at me? Getting a Masters apparently gives you a lot of free time to crack knuckles huh?

Uh, no... Just so you know, I lived there since age 9. My knowledge of the English language started when I was about to turn 4, so close, but no cigar. By the way, you have to understand that a lot of words in the English language come from Latin, same origin for its Spanish counterpart. Ergo, if you have a good domain of a language, you can easily find a translation (given you have the correct grammar bases covered).

Yeah, everyone is somebody on the internet. Should I brag about my PhD in Quantum Physics?

I doubt you are an engineer, because you cannot discern the following:

Mexican = Hispanic, but

Hispanic ≈ Mexican (unless you are guilty of using blind idiocy yourself)

You are the one profiling here, buddy... If I am in FL, they are not that bright. If i am Mexican, blah blah blah. If Australia has one college in the top 100 list, good for them. That does not make you smart!!! Wonder if an Ivy League school ever gave a Diploma to a 'tard.

PS - Those Astrophysics in NASA, real dumbasses

Congratz on the advanced degree. They cost a bundle. You have bragging rights, but I am wondering WHO you are really trying to impress and why? I work with many Ph.D's and MD's. Some are good and great human beings. Others are COMPLETE A-Holes, and I would not want to be in their presence unless I am getting paid on the clock, and even then, I do everything I can to avoid contact with them.

Bottom line, I am more impressed how a person treats others and shows interest and concern for others, than any advanced doctorate credential which is a dime a dozen, and says NOTHING about the inherent person.

Peace.

Ergo as well. You are apparently more fluent in English than most from English speaking nations on here. Amazing.

Ergo, come out and say you are really the yank spouse before digging the hole further.

Then again Mexico could use more citizens like you, that is individuals with PhDs in Quantum Physics.

What are you talking about, BY is as annoying as a mosquito in a beautiful FL evening.

I was thinking more of the humidity; that is, always in your face.

They all run away to the EU or US because they get funds for their research projects... This is proof of what I told you yesterday, you either make it or you don't, in a different context though.

The yank spouse is studying for her CRNA courses, and has the belief that internet arguments are like the Special Olympics (guess who wins), so she is doing her thing right now.

Didn't know they used manure masks on facials

Riiiight Riiiight. What would the EU and US be without these folks from a third world country with PhDs in Quantum Physics.

Hey Hopp, I am sorry. My point is that on the internet everyone is somebody, an engineer, a CEO and even a scientist. In reality, I left my law studies to come to the States with my wife. I will probably get back to square one if I want to become a lawyer on this side. My statement was to tell that you can have a degree and still be a dipstick, like you mentioned in yours.

For once agreed; however, the point was don't go making people you disagree with out to be dumb, when you know little about them. Otherwise there is a good chance you will get owned.

I know nothing about you, well apart from you apparently being from Viva La Mehiiiico, and you know little about me. Therefore, no need to throw out personal insults. At least lets get to know one another and then let the insults fly.

I am serious. A few of my college professors got funded in the US for advanced computer studies, and there are plenty of exchanges with other parts of the world like Grenoble, France as well as multiple universities in Spain, etc. Mexico, if you haven't noticed by now, is one of those countries where it's all up to you. The sky's the limit, if you so choose it. They don't have welfare, you have to work for a certain amount of years before SS gives you a pension. If you are unemployed, and don't have anything on your retirement fund, you are pretty much screwed. The "brain leak" phenomenon is only one factor of a decayed system.

Great minds are always wanted, anywhere, anytime. That's why you are bashed all the time in here. ;)

It's "Viva Mexico", "la" refers to "the" in its female form. Yes, we classify by gender in Spanish.

You are sore, I see. My apologies.

You don't say? Thanks for pointing that out as I never knew this until now.

You are new so you will realize [quick-smart] that personal insults are not tolerated on VJ, otherwise you are playing with fire. Pretty-much like that stupid kid who got owned by US BP.

What you have illustrated is that you cannot make an argument and respond to differing views without insult. Must be a cultural thing as every single one of you does it. Only to turn around and cry murder and racist when you are royally owned. By code [TOS], I have to go easy on you, otherwise there is nothing more that I enjoy than a pissing contest.
