I sent my I-130 on 04/20/2010 and got my NOAA1 on 04/27/2010. I'm not anxious or relentless but I'm bored of this waiting. I prepared everything I need for the NVC already. Got all the craps in order. I had my spouse apply for PCC which is gonna take anywhere from 1 month to 2 months from what I hear.

Meanwhile, I never called USCIS in my life. Should I call them to say hi and what's up? So I can at least get a feel for what's it like to talk to an USCIS agent. What number should I dial and what are the secret button combinations to get to a live person without having to waddle through the long-azz menu that I'm sure USCIS has.

N400 CITIZENSHIP STAGE

23-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form mailed to Dallas, TX Lockbox (USPS EXPRESS)

27-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form delivered/picked up by USCIS

01-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form fee check cashed by USCIS

04-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form received per NOA1

09-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 notice date

14-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 on hand through USPS

30-JAN-2017 -:- N400 fingerprint taken

01-FEB-2017 -:- N400 interview schedule process started

26-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview date set (01SEP2017)

29-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview letter on hand

01-SEP-2017 -:- N400 interview date - Interview passed

10-OCT-2017-:- N400 oath ceremony letter on hand (oath on 26OCT2017)

Even if you do get through to a live person all you are going to be told is your application is within the processing guidelines and call back once your application is beyond the published guides or after 6 months whichever comes first.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

If you really want to talk to them and have the full experience...you should look on your NOA1 for the # and then wade through the phone menu yourself. Then, once you get to the operator, you can answer their 1004 questions that have nothing to do with you and have them read you what it says on your NOA1 (word for word) and then like Nigeria said, they will tell you that you are still within the current processing times. If you really want to, knock yourself out!

-NVC operator says case was shipped to USE in Lima: 12/3/10

-Received interview date (12/13/10): JANUARY 6th, 2011!!

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)
