Untwist your knickers, I said I didn't want to vacation in the US and I answered the question when asked why. You people invited the discussion, it wasn't forced on you. Cripes, I knew Americans were touchy but I at least thought you'd be off the dummy by now.

You really are that dense, here I thought it was just an act.

I am concerned about your opinions Rob and Mel...it's the unicorn meat that makes me question your sensibilities. ;)

And it's gross. XD It looks like ALPO with sprinkles. *gag*

Oh, parsing games, my favourite.

Hey Julian - really I was not. Just factually pointing out what is sometimes a misconception. I'm not going to get caught up in all the hoopla in this thread. I did find it a little amusing to a point but my god, I think we all have better things to do.

You know, if a USC made the same comment it would be viewed in a totally different light. Personally - I can find plenty of places here in the US to honeymoon, heck, we went to Niagra Falls for ours. Nothing really special except for the fact that 49 years and a few weeks ago that is where my folks went. Kind if a family tradition

A few weeks later we went to Dayton, Ohio (for a bowling tourney) but we used it as another weekend getaway honeymoon  (really fun for the wife)!

We might go to Florida this summer to visit some friends but I'm really looking forward to going back to VN next year.

While I don't really appreciate people putting down my country, I have some opinions of my own about people and places here and there and everywhere so how am I really any different.

Im not the leader of this pack but I am just trying to interject a few thoughts to try and simmer the mood. My god - can't we all just get along! We need to share the love - and each day the world will become a little better place.

Take care and I hope everyone chills out a little - have a nice weekend all - I'm heading out to a weekend of golf - three courses in three days

27 Saturday at the Greens of Greenville

18 Sunday at the Oak Tree Country Club

18 Monday at Yankee Run

Wish me luck - hopefully the wife won't empty my bank account at the greenhouse while I'm gone

And another personal attack.

I can't really tell by your photo if you are the mail order purchaser or the purchasee

Your Florida is full of fat tourists and loud snotty children

Hawaii is an over-priced tourist trap and full of drug dealers. Even the islands are nothing but tourist traps these days, the interior is too hot, and the North is a bit close to Canada for my tastes, no offense.

Cripes, I knew Americans were touchy but I at least thought you'd be off the dummy by now.

Ah yes, the American answer to every problem

Your picture and hope that 'some good old boy will modify it for you against a brick wall' is all I need to know about you Johnny boy.

I haven't read the terms of service, but I have seen some of the room moderators participating in these threads--not this one--so I don't really think they care. But I do thank you for your civility and helpful attitude, some here could learn from your demeanor.

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

Jesus Christ, Julian. Give it a rest. It's long past your bedtime.

And nice move, telling Melissa if I'm "skulking about in the shrubbery" at your wedding, the groom will be absent. Even in jest, not cool. I know you think I'm trying to convince Melissa to leave you, but I have told her I'm not getting involved. Hell, I married two of your kind and nobody could tell me not to in a way I would listen.

By the way, slip Alex my personal email address since you now have it. He sounds like a dream.

Make no mistake about it; 'Melissa' is loving this. She's not a victim here, so everyone try to realize that. Yes, I'm being hypocritical, because I was once caught up in this...but the quicker everyone realizes this is all a fake troll job, the better!

How about a coast-to-coast road trip in a converted ice cream truck? Two friends of mine did that and had a great time. Although on more than one occasion, both cops and potential customers thought they were drug dealers.

I love your idea of camping in Yellowstone, despite it probably being tongue in cheek considering whom it was aimed at. ;)

No wedding or honeymoon for me. Yay for marrying young and poor. One day, I'd love to go to India.

ps. was there a bear involved with this icecream truck?

Nice American spelling there [for a Public School educated quasi-noble Brit], 'J'...I am impressed....See, you are not even here and you are assimilating...Soon the transformation will be complete!

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!
